SATURDAY JULY 4 Early AM (4:30 AM – 5:00 AM):

Mars is directly below the Pleiades Star Cluster (7 Sisters), and when you have found Mars, you have also found Uranus, which is in close conjunction with Mars! Binoculars will show the Cluster and both Planets in a single field. This provides a rare opportunity to view the Planet Uranus, which will share a low-power eyepiece field with Mars in any amateur Telescope!

“Friday’s meeting will begin at 7:00pm at the Doran Planetarium. For those attending in person, you may show up anytime after 6:30pm and convene in the marshalling area (coffee room).  Please be seated in the planetarium prior to 7:00pm.
