SATURDAY JULY 11 EARLY MORN, 4:00 AM – 4:30 AM:

Mars and the Star Aldebaran complete a sloping straight line downwards from and to the right of the Crescent Moon, which shines in the Northeast. The Pleiades sparkle to the upper right of the Crescent Moon if you look before twilight brightens. Keep binoculars handy!

Free SNOLAB Event at the Reffetorio  on Monday June 29th. The theme this time around is ‘Life Beneath the Rock, Science Beneath the Surface.’  This is part of SNOLAB’s Beneath/Beyond summer science series of lectures and are free to attend for everyone.

“Friday’s meeting will begin at 7:00pm at the Doran Planetarium. For those attending in person, you may show up anytime after 6:30pm and convene in the marshalling area (coffee room).  Please be seated in the planetarium prior to 7:00pm. 

FYI, the October meeting will be on Friday October 24th. More details as we approach the date.
