In Your Sky, Don’t Miss!

THURSDAY AUG. 27, 10:33 PM:

The Dark Core of Earth’s Shadow starts putting a “dent” in the right-hand edge of the Moon’s Disk.  The Eclipse will be 96% total at 12:13 Eastern Daylight Time, with most of the Moon taking on an orange or reddish hue.
Earlier, starting at 10:00 PM the outer part of Earth’s Shadow (Penumbra) may visibly dim the right-hand edge of the Moon.

CHECK THIS SPACE AGAIN SEPT. 7 to see what the Moon gets up to a week and a half after the Eclipse!
