It is with deep sorrow to share with you the news of the recent passing of Linda Pulliah (RASC Sudbury – Outreach Coordinator) & (North Bay Astronomy Club – Director). Linda passed away on Saturday. She gained the respect of so many of us in the astronomical community who have had the privilege of knowing her. Along with creating many friendships in her world of astronomy, she also was a RASC National Award winning recipient in the role of Astronomy Outreach which she prolifically demonstrated in sharing her passion to various community groups about astronomy over so many years. Her unique personal approach to educating the public about astronomy has resulted in introducing astronomy to virtually thousands of individuals of all walks of life and ages. As a result she had become a great ambassador and vital link to our communities in popularizing astronomy. A feat not commonly earned nor even heard of. She will be sadly missed.
