Hi Everyone! We have a busy agenda for February’s meeting at the Science North Planetarium. Below is the listed agenda. We hope to see you all there, either online or in person!

“Tonight’s meeting will begin at 7:00pm at Science North. For those attending in person, you may show up anytime after 6:30pm and convene in the marshalling area (coffee room). Please be seated in the planetarium prior to 7:00pm.

As always, parking isn’t an issue, simply go through the gate with your ticket and it will be looked after.

Note: bookings for provincial park campsites can be done 5 months in advance. All Dates are Tentative and are subject to change. For all contact emails, you will have to replace AT with the ‘@’ sign. This is to prevent spam.

Science North 2025 Star Parties

On three dates this Summer, Science North is offering two options for
participating in Star Parties. The dates are June 20, July 19, and
August 9.

As on clear nights in the past, Guests can arrive as darkness
approaches (9:00 PM – 10:00 PM) while staff and volunteers from the
Club set up Telescopes on the Patio for free public observing.

The new option includes indoor Star Party Programming at 9:00 PM
inside Science North whatever the weather, with admission by
purchased ticket. (There is no ticket requirement for the Outdoor
Star Party on the Patio). See Details at <sciencenorth.ca>

Both options feature Observing with Telescopes on the Patio at 10:00
PM or as soon as it is dark.
